Recognizing that with our penetration into the multilingual market that our Document Discovery Review System would need to be Unicode compliant and thus capable of displaying and searching double byte characters (such as Asian text, Arabic, Cyrillic etc.), IQWEST formed a strategic alliance with CaseLogistix whose software provided these functions.  This product together with our BabelQwest facility took us instantly out of the starting gate giving us wide recognition for unique multilingual document review capabilities.

Moreover, CaseQwest works extremely well as a fully functional litigation support database which makes it far more compelling than the review tools provided by our competitors who after the review must convert their database to a traditional litigation database.  This product combined with our highly developed Web portal infrastructure, gives us the power and the differentiation to compete favorably with market leaders. 
Honing in on the versatile desktop, firms choose CaseQwest for its one-stop native review, foreign language review and support, dynamic IntelliFolders, larger total file capacity, work flow capabilities, mass coding and tagging of hundreds of document formats, tiff/PDF independent.  CaseQwest enables firms to search and review native documents (e.g., Word, Excel, and Autocad) and image documents (such as PDF and TIFF).

The CaseQwest Review tool has built in IntelliFolders - CaseQwest has an intelligent, auto-organizing folder structure that is customizable for each library.  Unlimited folders can be created using the Library Designer and rules can be created for each folder to govern how you want your document to be organized.   Folders can be related to document fields so that new folders are automatically created for new values.  For example, you can create a folder called "Cases" that is related to the field called Case and specify that a new folder be created automatically to display documents that are added and coded with a new case name in the case field.    CaseQwest Library administrators have unlimited control over how they want each folder and subfolder to behave within the folder tree.  Each folder can also be assigned a custom icon for visual identification.

An example of how the Intellifolders can be leveraged in a case involving Email:

• Create an Intellifolder at the Top Level for a Custodian
• At the next level down have a Sub Folder Called DATE RANGE
• At the next level down have a Sub Folder under DATE RANGE called RECIPIENT

The power of the Intellifolders that once created the data that is contained within these folders is displayed as soon as you click on that folder. Information can also be dragged and dropped into the folders and the appropriate fields are coded for this document based on the folder it was dropped into.

User rights are customizable so as to provide Authorized USERS the ability to create FOLDERS, SUB-FOLDERS, TAGS, etc.
